I graduated Cleburne County High School in Heflin, AL. in 1999. I was a member of the Tri-M honor society for 2 years while I was there. I have always been involved in music since I was about 4 years old. After graduation, I went on to college on a piano scholarship; some in part because of Tri-M, and because of my talents and abilities. I have now been a music minister for 16 years, I play for 2 different groups, #3rd Generation, #Encounter, and have been offered several positions to play full time for different groups across the united states and continue to get offers. I really believe that societies or groups like these really give students a sense of belonging and purpose in their lives. Continue to do the good works that you are doing and one day they will all pay off for you. I am proof of that.
